The Production Manager coordinates the day-to-day manufacturing and packaging operations of Butler Coffee Lab. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is highly organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in growing into operations or management.

  • Conduct regular inventory reconciliation and identify discrepancies.
  • Provide daily direction and support to production and packaging employees.
  • Ensure employees follow recipes, procedures, quality standards, and work instructions.
  • Identify production delays, errors, staffing concerns, or process problems and help resolve them.
  • Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
  • Communicate significant operational, staffing, safety, or quality concerns to the Director of Operations.

  • Willingness to work hands-on in the production environment.
  • Ability to work respectfully with individuals with a wide range of abilities, communication styles, and support needs.

Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience in manufacturing, food production, packaging, inventory, warehousing, or similar operations.
  • Experience supervising, training, or leading coworkers.
  • Experience with inventory or production-management systems.

What We’re Looking For

You do not need to know everything about coffee production when you start. We can teach our processes and systems.

We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, willing to take ownership, comfortable asking questions, and able to notice when something is not right and take action to fix it.

Impact & Growth Opportunity

This role offers hands-on leadership experience within a growing organization focused on inclusive employment and workforce development. The Production Manager will help strengthen production systems, support organizational growth, and build the skills needed for future operations and management opportunities.
