Role Description The Retail Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Denver, CO, responsible for leading and overseeing Corvus Coffee Roasters’ retail locations. This role manages day-to-day store operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory control, and visual merchandising. The Retail Director sets and monitors sales targets, analyzes performance, and implements strategies to drive revenue and customer satisfaction. In collaboration with leadership, this role ensures consistent product knowledge among staff, high service standards, and alignment with brand values. The Retail Director also mentors retail managers and teams, coordinates training, and supports initiatives that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding store performance goals.
- Candidates should possess solid Product Knowledge related to specialty coffee or comparable food and beverage offerings.
- Candidates should possess a focus on Customer Satisfaction, including the ability to analyze feedback and implement improvements.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills for leading teams and engaging guests.
- Candidates should possess leadership experience in multi-unit or high-volume retail operations.
- Candidates should possess abilities in staff training, performance coaching, and team development.
- Candidates should possess competency in basic business analytics, budgeting, and inventory management.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
- Experience in specialty coffee or food and beverage retail is highly beneficial.
