Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver friendly, courteous, and professional customer service as a primary point of contact.
  • Lead, train, schedule, and supervise Starbucks clerks to ensure appropriate staffing and performance.
  • Drive department results by increasing sales, improving profitability, and controlling costs.
  • Oversee daily Starbucks operations, including beverage preparation, order fulfillment, and customer transactions.
  • Manage inventory, place orders, conduct counts, and rotate products to ensure freshness and availability.
  • Ensure compliance with company, Starbucks corporate, food safety, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain accurate required logs, including temperature and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized café environment and work area.

  • Knowledge of coffee and tea preparation methods, equipment, and beverage recipes.
  • Ability to memorize drink formulas, PLU codes, and operating procedures.
  • Working knowledge of food safety requirements and certifications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to multitask, stay focused, and work under pressure.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, reach, and perform repetitive tasks during shifts.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts in a 24-hour retail operation.
