Position Summary

The Starbucks Manager is responsible for leading the licensed Starbucks café operations within the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, product quality, brand standards, and financial performance. This role oversees daily operations, team leadership, training, food safety, and compliance with both company and Starbucks® brand standards.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, train, and develop Starbucks café associates to deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Create schedules aligned with café volume, labor standards, and business needs
  • Conduct performance coaching, feedback, and corrective action as required
  • Foster a positive, customer‑focused, and inclusive team environment

Starbucks Café Operations

  • Oversee daily café operations including beverage preparation, food handling, bar flow, and service execution
  • Ensure compliance with Starbucks® brand standards, recipes, and operational procedures
  • Maintain product availability through accurate forecasting, ordering, and inventory management
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of café equipment

Food Safety & Brand Compliance

  • Ensure strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Maintain accurate temperature logs, cleaning schedules, labeling, and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Starbucks® audit requirements and internal company standards
  • Address audit findings promptly and ensure corrective actions are completed

Sales, Labor & Financial Performance

  • Drive sales through excellent service, product quality, and promotional execution
  • Monitor labor usage, sales trends, and café performance metrics
  • Manage waste, shrink, and product rotation to meet financial goals
  • Support store‑level financial objectives through effective café performance

Customer Experience

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve escalated customer concerns
  • Ensure a welcoming, clean, and customer‑ready café environment at all times
  • Reinforce Starbucks® service culture and customer engagement standards
