We are seeking a motivated Assistant Manager ! Our ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers’ satisfaction. The Assistant Manager will s upport the General Manager and entire team by organizing, planning and directing activities in all aspects of dining room service, front of house and beverage programming.

Essential Duties

  • Responsible for supporting and meeting daily restaurant operations to ensure a superior guest experience in our dining room
  • Collaborate with the General Manager in analyzing and recommending methods drive sales, manage profitability, fulfill operating hours to include all controllable spending (payroll, COGS, invoicing)
  • Manage beverage program; maintain relationships with purveyors, manage and submission of inventory, participation in menu development
  • Assists the General Manager in hiring, training, developing, scheduling and evaluating employees through daily line-up, staff programs and daily evaluation of restaurant service performance
  • Enforces company standards, policies, and procedures, including sanitation, safety, dress codes, and cash handling
  • Interacts with guests to obtain feedback; effectively responds to and handles guest issues and complaints at all times acting as a brand ambassador
  • Encourages a positive work environment for all staff

Qualifications

Role Qualifications

  • 4-5 years restaurant experience
  • 1 year management experience
  • Polished, professional appearance with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important.
  • Flexible availability preferred- may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
  • Physically able to:
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Bend, reach, lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Pay Range

USD $55,000.00 - USD $65,000.00 /Yr.
