About Imperial Moto:
Imperial Moto is Miami’s original moto-inspired café, specialty coffee roaster, and lifestyle brand. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Wholesale Manager to expand our wholesale business and strengthen relationships with our existing partners.
About the Role:
The Wholesale Manager will be responsible for developing new wholesale accounts, managing existing customer relationships, and overseeing the wholesale department's day-to-day operations.
This is a hands-on role combining sales, business development, account management, and operations. The ideal candidate is sales-driven, highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
A key priority of this position is actively identifying and converting new business opportunities to drive wholesale revenue growth.
Sales and Responsability:
- Proactively identify and pursue new wholesale accounts throughout South Florida and beyond.
- Generate new business through cold outreach, networking, referrals, sample drops, tastings, and in-person visits.
- Manage inbound wholesale leads and convert qualified opportunities into customers.
- Develop pricing proposals and customized wholesale programs for prospective accounts.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline and consistently follow up with prospects.
- Track leads, opportunities, and sales activity.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across Imperial Moto’s product portfolio.
- Develop strategies to increase wholesale revenue and expand market presence.
Account Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale customers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing accounts.
- Monitor purchasing patterns and proactively contact customers when they are due for reordering.
- Identify opportunities to expand products and services within existing accounts.
- Maintain accurate customer records, including contact information, equipment, delivery preferences, and purchasing history.
- Coordinate tastings of coffee, tea, matcha, cold brew, and other products as needed.
- Ensure a high level of customer service and account retention.
Wholesale Operations & Inventory:
- Coordinate inventory requirements to ensure sufficient product availability for wholesale accounts.
- Monitor weekly inventory counts and product movement.
- Coordinate replenishment based on sales and distribution needs.
- Help coordinate delivery routes and ensure orders arrive accurately and on schedule.
- Work closely with production, delivery, and other internal teams to maintain smooth wholesale operations.
- Assist with supplier invoice and inventory reconciliation as needed.
- Coordinate equipment support for wholesale customers, including troubleshooting and calibration needs.
- Escalate equipment issues to technicians or service providers when necessary.
- Coordinate repairs, warranties, replacements, and equipment placements.
- Maintain productive relationships with suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and service providers.
Reporting & Performance:
- Monitor wholesale revenue and overall sales performance.
- Track weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
- Monitor key department metrics, including sales, COGS, inventory, and operating expenses.
- Provide regular performance updates and reports to company leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales, margins, customer retention, and operational efficiency.
- Support budgeting and forecasting for the wholesale department.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, wholesale, business development, account management, or a related role.
- Proven ability to prospect, develop relationships, negotiate, and generate new business.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent customer relationship and account management skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Basic understanding of revenue, margins, COGS, and inventory management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to customer accounts as needed.
- Experience in specialty coffee, beverage, hospitality, foodservice, or CPG is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial coffee equipment is a plus.
