Core Responsibilities

• Store Operations: Successfully open and close the entire store as Manager on Duty (MOD), ensuring daily reporting is complete. Autonomously coordinate kitchen, bar, and Front-of-House (FOH) operations, and resolve complex POS and system issues without GM involvement.
• Leadership and Coaching: Set and communicate shift goals, providing real-time coaching and feedback to improve execution, quality, guest experience, and pace. Obtain ServSafe certification within 30 days.
• Team Development & Management: Own the onboarding and station training for new hires. Coach Lead Cook and Lead Barista on their shift performance. Manage and document repeated attendance and performance issues, escalating serious matters to the General Manager (GM).
• Shift Stabilization & Conflict Resolution: Cover callouts, stabilize operations during disruptions, and make real-time coverage decisions to protect labor targets. Actively manage team morale and energy. De-escalate guest concerns autonomously.
  
  
  

Inventory & Facility Maintenance: Take inventory, place orders, and autonomously manage receiving and organizing deliveries. Act as the first responder for facility or equipment issues to protect service, escalating to the GM only when needed. Navigate health department inspections.
