Ivy Cafe
| Location: | Pewaukee, WI |
| Type: | Part-time |
| Date Posted: | June 30, 2026 |
Ivy Cafe is a new, locally owned coffee shop opening in September 2026 in Pewaukee, WI. Our goal is to offer not just great coffee, but a space where genuine connection comes naturally. We’re searching for baristas who are energetic, welcoming, and excited to build relationships with our customers. Training will begin approximately 2-3 weeks prior to opening so our team can learn together and feel fully prepared for our Grand Opening.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Craft delicious food and deinks
Your top priority is to make consistently delicious beverages and food items for our customers. Follow recipes and preparation guides carefully to ensure quality and accuracy. Take pride in your craft — check in with customers to make sure everything tastes great and happily remake any item if it doesn’t meet their expectations.
2. Build genuine connections with customers
We want Ivy Cafe to feel like a second home for our guests. Go beyond small talk — take the time to learn about our customers, ask about their day, and show genuine interest in their lives. Great coffee brings people in, but real connections bring them back.
3. Maintain a clean and welcoming space
A tidy cafe helps everyone feel comfortable and cared for. Each day includes cleaning tasks that must be completed to keep our space spotless. This includes upkeep and deeper cleaning projects. Everyone in the team shares responsibility for maintaining a beautiful, inviting environment.
4. Be a knowledgable team member
Our guests trust us to provide accurate information about our menu and cafe. If you don’t know the answer to a question, that’s okay — just let the customer know you’ll find out and follow up promptly. Reach out to the owner when needed, asking questions and learning continuously is part of being an expert.

- Open to feedback and constructive criticism
- Ability to communicate effectively
