An upscale organic grocery market in Naples, FL is seeking an experienced Barista / Smoothie Manager to lead its specialty beverage program. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate coffee professional to build and oversee a best-in-class coffee and smoothie operation focused on quality, innovation, and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of leadership experience in specialty coffee, cafés, premium retail, or hospitality
• Proven experience developing and managing a coffee and/or barista program
• Strong knowledge of espresso preparation, brewing methods, coffee sourcing, and beverage quality standards
• Experience creating smoothie, juice, or wellness-focused beverage programs is highly preferred
• Ability to hire, train, coach, and inspire a high-performing team
• Strong inventory, ordering, and cost control experience
• Passion for hospitality, wellness, and delivering exceptional guest service
• Participation in regional or national barista competitions is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily operations of the coffee and smoothie department
• Develop and execute an elevated specialty coffee and smoothie program
• Train and mentor baristas to maintain exceptional beverage quality and service standards
• Create seasonal beverage offerings and collaborate on menu innovation
• Manage inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and product quality
• Monitor labor, food cost, and beverage cost to achieve financial goals
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and health department compliance
• Deliver an outstanding guest experience while fostering a positive, team-oriented culture
• Partner with leadership to grow sales and establish the market as a premier coffee destination
