Position Summary

The Wyndham NRG Hotel & Conference Center Houston is seeking energetic, customer-focused, and reliable Starbucks Baristas to join our team for the opening of our new Starbucks location. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service while preparing high-quality Starbucks beverages and food items in accordance with Starbucks and Wyndham brand standards.

This position requires a professional appearance, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Primary Responsibilitie

• sPrepare and serve Starbucks coffee beverages, teas, frappuccinos, and specialty drinks according to Starbucks recipes and standards
• .Deliver exceptional guest service and create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
• .Accurately process cash, credit card, and room charge transactions
• .Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Starbucks café, equipment, and service areas
• .Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations at all times
• .Restock supplies, beverages, food products, cups, lids, syrups, and other inventory items as needed
• .Monitor product quality and presentation standards
• .Assist with opening and closing procedures
• .Maintain accurate inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to management
• .Promote Starbucks products and upsell menu items when appropriate
• .Ensure compliance with Wyndham NRG Hotel standards, policies, and guest service expectations
• .Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly
• .Participate in ongoing training and development programs

Required Qualificatio

• nsHigh School Diploma or GED preferre
• d.Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience preferre
• d.Previous cash handling experience preferre
• d.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pound
• s.Must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and special event day
