Overview

Hours: 32 hrs/wk Weekdays 6am-3pm with rotating Saturdays

Location: Riley Hospital

Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations to enhance their experience. Build rapport to encourage repeat visits and maintain a welcoming café atmosphere. Beverage Preparation: Skillfully prepare coffee, espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, teas, and specialty drinks following standardized recipes. Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality. Cash Handling and POS Operation: Accurately process transactions using point-of-sale systems, handle cash, credit, and debit payments securely, and maintain financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to guests and team members
  • Prepare and serve beverages according to quality and safety standards
  • Operate the cash register and accurately process transactions
  • Handle cash and maintain balanced cash drawer procedures


Must Have Qualification:

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Strong commitment to cleanliness and organization
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable attendance and dependability in a fast-paced environment
  • MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE**


Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Requires 2 years experience.
  • Requires ServSafe Handler Certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment.
  • Requires basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.
  • Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption.
  • Requires the ability to climb ladders.
  • Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time.
