Barista

Thuma is looking for a Barista to join our team. Reporting to the Lead Barista, this position will play a pivotal role in the seamless functioning and overall success of our new flagship store and cafe in Cherry Creek.

As a Thuma Barista, you'll be an integral part of creating a warm, inviting atmosphere, serving exceptional coffee, and providing top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Be an extension of the Thuma retail team and create an environment where people like to spend time.
• Oversee daily cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages with precision and care
• Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere
• Engage with customers, take orders, and offer product recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area and equipment
• Uphold Thuma's commitment to ethical business practices, sustainability and 6-star customer service
• Work collaboratively with the cafe and retail team to ensure smooth cafe /retail operations
• Stay informed about Thuma products and promotions to assist customers effectively
  
  
  

What You’ll Need

• This job requires the ability to work in-person at the Thuma Cafe in Cherry Creek
• This job requires availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience as a Barista in a cafe or similar setting is preferred
• Passion for coffee and dedication to delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
  
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods
• Capacity to lift and move medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., using proper equipment and safety techniques
