Opportunity

The Cafe Coordinator provides supervisory support for the Kohler, helping to oversee front-of-house operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role supports daily cafe operations, inventory/ordering management, spa events and activations, and serves as a knowledgeable resource on spa services, amenities, and cafe offerings while upholding Forbes and Kohler Luxury Standards.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Perform all duties as Barista and Barista II.
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences in alignment with Forbes and Kohler Luxury Standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of Kohler Waters Spa services, amenities, and wellness offerings to answer guest questions and enhance the overall spa experience.
  • Manage monthly inventory counts and reconciliation, maintain accurate inventory records, and assist with purchasing, ordering, and cost control initiatives.
  • Maintain cafe SOPs, opening/closing procedures, operational documentation, and food safety standards.
  • Support onboarding and training new associates on service and operational standards.
  • Develop and execute seasonal beverage features, promotions, and cafe initiatives.
  • Support spa events, wellness programming, and guest activations throughout the Cafe and Spa facility.
  • Serve as a resource for guests regarding menu items, ingredients, allergens, spa services, and resort offerings.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Complete all tasks as assigned by leadership.


This is a full-time position working weekends and weekdays. Hours vary between 5:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Skills/Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Availability to work various operational hours. This includes but is not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to cross-train in multiple cafes, to include back-of-house culinary operations, such as juicing and prep, to support the broader F&B team as needed to ensure a sustainable and efficient workflow.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in specialty coffee or luxury hospitality, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory aptitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to train others, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain professionalism and effective decision-making in high pressure environments.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a ServSave Certification with the National Restaurant Association or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated proficiency of espresso machinery, milk science, latte art, nitro systems, and POS operations.
  • Previous experience with food preparation preferred.

The hourly range for this position is $16.60 - $24.90 plus tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
