Job Summary

The JRC Café Dream Team Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to manage the coordination, communication and scheduling of JRC Café dream teamers at all campuses. This position will also act as a lead in JRC Café operations during normal operating hours, services and special events. This person will work closely with the Café Manager and help to implement any procedures directed by the Café Manager.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

  • Responsible for coordinating and communicating all dream team scheduling and assimilation from Grow Track through their regular serving schedule.
  • Assists with the recruitment, day-to-day training and leading of all dream teamers and staff that work in JRC Café.
  • Assist in any dream team training or department events.
  • Will track and document dream teamer progress, notes and attendance in department systems.
  • Will communicate any staffing shortages and/or issues to the Café Manager.
  • Assists with the development, implementation and maintenance of operational procedures and training manuals.
  • Will ensure that all cafés are stocked every shift and prepared for next service or usage.
  • Will follow and ensure that all cleaning lists and projects are completed on time.
  • Responsible for handling monetary transactions, operating the espresso/brewing machines, baking and preparing products, cleaning and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Will report to the Café Manager any maintenance issues, monetary discrepancies, staffing problems and praise reports.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Write birthday/anniversary cards for Dream Teamers
  • Quarterly and Year End Inventory
  • Receive and Inspect products received by vendors. Report to Café Manager any discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of daily café operations
  • Ability to communicate in an effective and professional manner.
  • Exhibit good judgment, honesty, integrity, responsibility and punctuality.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervising personnel, co-workers and customers.
  • Very organized and understands time-sensitive assignments
  • Must be willing to be coachable at all times.
  • Checking in product from vendors and lifting up to 30 pounds, bending & twisting.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Have (or obtain within 30 days of employment) Manager’s ServSafe Certification or Food Handlers Certification

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Administrative Skills/Experience
  • Able to learn JR Church management system (F1Go) and keep accurate information on each DT profile.
