Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven Café Manager to lead the daily operations of our luxury café. This role is ideal for a refined leader with a passion for elevated guest experiences, specialty coffee culture, and thoughtful service. The Café Manager will be responsible for cultivating a warm, sophisticated atmosphere while ensuring operational excellence, team development, and strong business performance. Core Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Hospitality

  • Deliver an exceptional and personalized guest experience aligned with the brand’s luxury hospitality standards
  • Foster a welcoming, elevated atmosphere that encourages customer loyalty and community engagement
  • Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, warmth, and discretion
  • Maintain impeccable presentation standards across the café environment, team appearance, and product execution


Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor a hospitality-focused café team
  • Inspire a culture rooted in service excellence, professionalism, and collaboration
  • Lead by example during service while maintaining calm and poise in high-volume environments
  • Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and ongoing staff development


Operations & Quality Control

  • Oversee all day-to-day café operations, including opening opening and closing procedures as well as ensuring efficiency and consistency
  • Uphold premium standards for beverage preparation, food presentation, cleanliness, and ambiance
  • Manage inventory, vendor relationships, ordering, and product quality
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Monitor equipment maintenance and overall café upkeep


Financial Performance

  • Drive revenue growth while maintaining labor and operational efficiencies
  • Analyze sales, labor, and operational reporting to identify opportunities for improvement (i.e. waste management)
  • Support local marketing initiatives, partnerships, and in-store events
  • Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and cost management


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of management experience in hospitality, specialty coffee, boutique retail, or upscale food & beverage environments
  • Strong understanding of hospitality-driven service models
  • Passion for coffee culture, craftsmanship, and guest engagement
  • Proven leadership and team development experience
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly detail-oriented environment
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays


Preferred Experience

  • Specialty coffee or barista experience
  • Familiarity with premium guest service expectations
  • Experience managing high-touch customer experiences and community-driven concepts


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic hospitality environment
