Role Description The Cafe Worker role at The Batson Experience is a full-time, on-site position based in Wilmington, DE. This role involves preparing and serving food and beverages, handling customer orders at the counter or register, and ensuring prompt, friendly, and accurate service. Daily responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of the cafe area, stocking supplies, following food safety procedures, and supporting opening or closing tasks. The Cafe Worker will collaborate with team members to manage peak service periods, assist with basic inventory checks, and uphold company standards for hygiene, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Food Preparation and Food & Beverage skills to prepare menu items and handle a variety of drinks and snacks.
• Food Service and Customer Service skills to interact with guests, take orders, and serve items professionally.
• Knowledge of Food Safety practices to maintain hygiene, proper storage, and safe handling of ingredients.
• Ability to work on-site in Wilmington, DE, including standing for extended periods and performing light physical tasks.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic cash handling or point-of-sale (POS) experience is preferred.
• Prior experience in a cafe, restaurant, or food service environment is beneficial but not required.
