Couplet Coffee is a multi-location cafe chain based in Los Angeles. With our new food facility up and running, we now produce everything in-house — from pastries, sandwiches and salads to full coffee cart catering and espresso bar setups.

We cater weddings, office lunches, and special events across LA, and we offer custom recipe development for food and beverage programs when clients want something truly their own.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a ground-floor sales role with real upside. You'll start part-time and convert to full-time as you build the pipeline. Your growth here is tied directly to the business you bring in. A year from now, you'll have built a roster of repeat corporate clients, a wedding and events calendar that stays booked, and relationships with planners and offices all over the city.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the catering sales pipeline end to end — prospecting, quoting, closing, and follow-up

• Sell across our full menu of offerings: coffee cart catering, espresso bar setups, sandwich and salad spreads, and custom food & beverage packages

• Build relationships with event planners, wedding coordinators, office managers, and corporate clients across LA

• Coordinate with our production facility and cafe teams to make sure every event is executed flawlessly

• Represent Couplet at tastings, site visits, and events

• Scope custom recipe development projects with clients and our culinary team

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:

• Experience in catering, event, or hospitality sales — you've sold food and beverage services before and can speak to the deals you've closed

• A self-starter who builds their own pipeline and doesn't wait for leads to come in

• Strong communication and follow-through — clients trust you with their biggest days

• Comfortable moving around LA for site visits, tastings, and client meetings

Nice to have:

• An existing network of event planners, venues, or corporate clients in LA

• Coffee or specialty beverage knowledge

• Experience with weddings or large-format events

COMPENSATION

$25–$30/hour + commission on booked catering sales. Part-time to start, with conversion to full-time as the pipeline grows. Free coffee, obviously.
