Counter person / Barista

Busy cafe located in Los Feliz now seeking a hardworking, skilled counter person / barista. We specialize in baked goods, sandwiches as well as coffee and espresso drinks. We are a very unique, dynamic establishment. You must have at least 2 years of experience working hands on with coffee and espresso in a busy environment. This position is expected to be scheduled between 3 to 4 days a week (or between 20 to 30 hours). Weekend availability is a must.

You must be:

Outgoing and personable, with the ability to communicate clearly and often.
Able to multitask in a very busy and small work space.
Proficient and skilled at crafting specialty coffee drinks (creating latte art is a plus).
Passionate and knowledgeable about coffee and espresso.
Available weekends and afternoons.
Willing to go the extra mile.

In addition you will be required to perform the following duties:

Provide outstanding service to customers and fellow co-workers.
Operate a cash register and interact with customers during busy hours.
Assist with food prep and making sandwiches to order.
Operate and maintain a full size espresso machine with attention and care.
Bussing patio, washing dishes, emptying trashes and cleaning restrooms.
Other duties assigned.
