The director of Replenishment Planning will lead significant operational transformation as we transition core system technology and leverage advanced analytics to enable perpetual inventory in stores and automated ordering. This leader will drive the utmost customer centricity by supporting data quality, exception management, and event management to ensure the right products are delivered to the right stores at the right time with 100% on-shelf customer availability. We will build the assortment planning discipline to ensure higher levels of profitability and lower waste while exceeding customer expectations. This initiative is a high priority across the enterprise as we embed these capabilities to reduce friction with inventory flow and free up our store partners from inventory tasks so they can focus on delivering the Starbucks Experience every day.

- Supporting stores with tools for quality orders
- Managing exceptions from automated orders
- Delivering on-shelf customer availability
- Rebalancing inventory across network
- Reacting to event data shared by stores
- Influencing assortment strategies with Product and Retail Ops
- Shaping end-to-end integrated inventory strategy with Sourcing, Distribution, and Retail/Store Development Field Ops
- Influencing through data and storytelling
- Demonstrating empathy with stakeholders and delivering a better experience for partners and customers
- Communicating proactively and transparently with stakeholders with confidence and accuracy
- Fluent in Planning systems and technology
- Leading teams through change, inclusive of modernizing approaches through automation
- Forecasting
- Inventory Management
- Assortment Planning
- Progressive experience in retail operations, project management, planning and forecasting, and retail management
- Sales and Operations Planning
- Team leadership
- If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
