About the Role

Pressed Cafe is seeking a proactive, hands-on Market Facilities Manager to oversee the functionality, safety, and maintenance of our café facilities across the market. Reporting to the SVP, Strategy & Operation Services, this role is responsible for ensuring all locations operate efficiently, safely, and in alignment with our hospitality standards.


The ideal candidate is organized, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment. You’ll partner closely with café leadership, vendors, and construction teams to maintain our facilities, resolve issues quickly, and support future growth.


What You’ll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day facilities operations for multiple Pressed Cafe locations within the market.
  • Manage preventative maintenance programs, repairs, and ongoing upkeep of café spaces, systems, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular site visits, audits, and walkthroughs to ensure facilities are safe, compliant, clean, and operating effectively.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance related to HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, security systems, pest control, and foodservice equipment.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, evaluate service levels, and ensure quality performance.
  • Oversee facilities budgets including maintenance contracts, repairs, and capital improvement projects.
  • Manage work order systems, ensuring timely response and resolution of issues. Review and approve vendor invoices and related facilities expenses.
  • Maintain permits, licenses, and compliance documentation for all locations.
  • Partner with Development and Construction teams on new café openings, remodels, and expansion projects.
  • Conduct walkthroughs of projects in development to support long-term maintenance planning.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, safety, and cost effectiveness across facilities.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance or operational emergencies as needed, including after-hours support.
  • Prepare reports and analysis related to maintenance trends, costs, and facility performance.
  • Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned.


What You Bring

  • 4+ years of facilities management, property maintenance, restaurant operations, or related experience.
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and general maintenance.
  • Experience managing vendors, service contracts, and repair budgets.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and respond quickly to urgent situations.
  • Strong communication skills with a service-first mindset.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, construction, and leadership teams.
  • Experience with work order systems (ServiceChannel or similar preferred).
  • Ability to read plans, technical drawings, and construction documents is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly between café locations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or respond to emergencies when needed.
  • Hospitality or restaurant facilities experience strongly preferred.
  • Facilities certifications (IFMA, CFM, or similar) are a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, kneel, crawl, and work in active café environments.
