Job Overview
The Manufacturing organization is a cornerstone of Lavazza North America's ability to deliver premium coffee experiences to customers and consumers across the market. The Manufacturing team is responsible for producing and packaging high-quality coffee products for retail, foodservice, and office coffee service businesses across the region. This includes roasting, blending, packaging, quality assurance, production planning, maintenance, and continuous improvement to ensure products meet Lavazza's global standards for quality and food safety. Manufacturing plays a critical role in maintaining supply continuity, optimizing costs, improving operational efficiency, and supporting innovation by bringing new products and packaging formats to market. By partnering closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Research and Development (R&D), Procurement, and Commercial teams, the function helps ensure customer demand is met while driving sustainable growth and operational excellence.
The Material Handler supports warehouse operations and factory execution by completing accurate physical and system movements of raw materials and finished goods. The role receives, inspects, stores, rotates, stages, and loads inventory using first-in, first-out (FIFO) practices while maintaining transaction accuracy in SAP and the Cockpit manufacturing execution system (MES). The position partners with Production, Quality, and warehouse colleagues to support safety, product quality, inventory integrity, space utilization, and production schedules.

Job Responsibilities
- Unload, inspect, and document inbound raw material shipments from domestic and international suppliers.
- Move received inventory into storage using first-in, first-out (FIFO) practices and complete the required system transactions.
- Rotate and pick materials according to FIFO requirements while maintaining accurate physical and system inventory records.
- Inspect, verify, and load outbound finished goods shipments accurately and safely.
- Monitor and consolidate stored materials to maintain organized and efficient warehouse space.
- Register finished goods pallets in SAP through the Cockpit manufacturing execution system (MES).
- Stage raw materials for active and upcoming production schedules.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and quality requirements during all warehouse activities.
- Partner with the

- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential.
- 0-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, material handling, inventory control, manufacturing, or a related environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP material management transactions or comparable warehouse inventory systems.
- Experience applying first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory practices for receiving, storage, picking, staging, or shipping.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and entering accurate inventory or shipment data in SAP or a comparable system.
- Availability to work assigned shifts and occasional mandatory overtime based on production, changeover, or customer demand.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for prolonged periods as required for warehouse and manufacturing work.
- Experience collecting quality or supplier delivery data and supporting corrective actions or process improvements.
