At Movita Juice Bar, we are seeking a friendly and outgoing Barista to join our team! In this role, you will welcome customers into the store and prepare their orders. Your goal is to ensure patrons enjoy their drinks and time at our shop. The ideal candidate is passionate about health/wellness of the community and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers into the Juice Bar with a smile
- Take food and beverage orders
- Explain the menu items to customers
- Create a variety of drinks, from basic to more complex
- Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
- Bus tables and wipe down surfaces
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
