Role Description Hiring for Full-time and Part-time, on-site roles based at Lucky Goat Coffee in Destin, FL. The role involves preparing and serving specialty coffee and café beverages, operating espresso machines and brewing equipment, and following café recipes and standards. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, and providing friendly, efficient service. Team members restock supplies, maintain a clean and organized café environment, and follow food safety and hygiene procedures. The role also supports opening and closing duties, collaborates with coworkers to manage busy periods, and helps create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Qualifications

• Ability to prepare coffee and café beverages, operate espresso equipment, and follow recipes with attention to quality and consistency.
• Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, a hospitable attitude, and the ability to engage with a diverse range of guests.
• Reliability in handling cash and point-of-sale systems, processing orders accurately, and maintaining basic math skills for transactions.
• Capacity to work on your feet for extended periods, lift and carry supplies, and manage tasks in a fast-paced café environment.
• Organizational skills to maintain a clean workstation, follow opening and closing checklists, and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to collaborate with team members, take direction, and contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed; prior café, restaurant, or retail experience is a plus.
• Interest in specialty coffee and willingness to learn about brewing methods, flavor profiles, and Lucky Goat products.
