Overview

Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking a Market Attendant & Barista to prepare beverages, assist guests, and support daily operations in the hotel market. This role is responsible for delivering efficient service, maintaining product quality, and ensuring a clean and organized retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee beverages and fulfill food orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide professional, friendly service to guests and assist with product selection
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and room charge transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the market, including restocking and inventory support
• Follow established recipes, service standards, and operational procedures
• Work independently to manage daily tasks and resolve customer needs
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Food Handler’s Certificate required or ability to obtain before start
• Previous retail, barista, or food service experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn POS systems
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and reliable work ethic
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
