Weekends come alive at Sandy's Donuts & Coffee Shop, and we are looking for a dependable, flexible driver to help keep fresh donuts and coffee moving when our regular drivers are away. This on-call position is perfect for someone who enjoys early mornings, steady routines, and the satisfaction of knowing their work puts smiles on customers' faces. About The Role

As an On Call Weekend Sub Driver, you will step in on Saturdays and Sundays to cover delivery routes, transport baked goods between locations, and ensure that each stop receives its order on time and in excellent condition. We value drivers who treat every delivery as a reflection of the Sandy's name.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver donuts to assigned stops and willing to work different routes that go to and from areas like Grand Forks, Valley City, Detroit Lakes, and around the FM area.
• Load and unload product carefully to maintain freshness and presentation.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely weekend arrivals.
• Communicate promptly with managers when accepting on-call shifts and when issues arise on the road.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after routes, reporting any maintenance needs.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and be able to operate a tablet.
• Represent Sandy's with friendly, professional service at every stop.

Qualifications

• A valid, insurable driver's license and a clean, safe driving record.
• Availability to accept on-call shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, including early mornings, hours vary from 1am to 9am or 5:30 pm to 3:30 am.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes of product safely.
• Strong time-management skills and a commitment to punctual deliveries.
• A courteous, customer-focused attitude and clear communication skills.
• Comfort driving familiar and new routes in all weather conditions.
  
  

No prior delivery experience is required, though it is preferred. If you are organized, reliable, and have good attention to detail, we would love to hear from you.
