Part Time - Barista

Role Overview

Responsible for preparing coffee shop beverages and food, operating cash register, and providing courteous customer service.

Key Duties

• Prepare beverages and food items following established standards.
• Operate cash register and process payments securely.
• Stock and rotate merchandise, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Communicate store programs, in-store specials, and handle customer inquiries.
• Assist with inventory needs and maintain a well-organized work environment.
• Support other departments as needed and adhere to safety and food handling policies.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year retail or related experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  
  

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures and environments. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
