Job Description
Conference and Dining Services at Lorain County Community College in Elyria, Ohio, is seeking friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Baristas to work part-time with our campus Starbucks team.
Flexible part-time shifts are available Monday through Friday. New hires will receive Starbucks training on the job to successfully prepare beverages, provide excellent customer service, maintain store cleanliness, and help create a welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
Employees must have reliable transportation, maintain a high degree of sanitation and personal hygiene, must be able to take direction verbally or by work order.
This positions requires the physical ability to stand for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Minimum starting rate $16.03.
Qualifications
Required qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent in education, 2-3 years experience as a barista or similar customer service position, experience as a shift lead, the physical ability to stand for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 50lbs. Must have reliable transportation.
Preferred qualifications: Able to use a POS system, current ServSafe certification
