Discovery Town is looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on Play Cafe Manager to lead our team and help create an exceptional experience for every family who walks through our doors.

What you'll do

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the play café, café, and event spaces.
• Hire, train, coach, and schedule a high-performing team.
• Oversee birthday parties and special events from setup to completion.
• Manage café operations, food safety, and inventory.
• Monitor daily sales, labor, and operational performance.
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care.
• Help grow memberships, promote events, and support community engagement.

What we are looking for

• 2+ years of management experience in hospitality, retail, food service, childcare, recreation, or family entertainment.
• Ability to lead a small team, coach staff, and manage schedules and daily operations effectively.
• Comfort working on-site, including standing for extended periods and assisting with light cleaning or setup tasks.
• Basic proficiency with computer systems for bookings, point-of-sale, and communication tools.
• Availability to work weekends and evenings.
