Non-CDL Driver and Production Staff Team Member - Starting Pay up to $22 per hour

Artisan Craft Coffee Roaster

We are an artisan, small estate coffee roaster located just outside of Boston, MA. We sell our roasted to order coffee both online to consumers worldwide and to cafes, restaurants and major grocery retailers in the US and Canada. We are a growing company across all business channels-wholesale, retail cafes and online.

We are seeking an individual that is detail-oriented and has excellent communication and organizational skills. This individual should be able to stay focused and have the ability to apply common sense in order to carry out tasks/ instructions. We expect driving duties to be 75% of the time and production duties to be 25% of the time.

Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Ability to follow processes, policy and procedures of a coffee roasting company
• Capable of working in a fast-paced production environment
• Stock shelves/racks
• Bag/seal roasted coffee efficiently
• Work off of packing lists and invoices to fulfill customer orders.
• Work as a team/one unit
• Sense of urgency/ability to switch gears easily when needed
• Ability to lift 75 lbs on a regular basis
• Pick/pack customer orders efficiently w/goal of 100% accuracy
• Help maintain, clean production/order fulfillment areas at all times
• Capable of loading and unloading the truck
• Checking deliveries for accuracy
• Follow established standard operating procedures.
• Ability to drive a non-cdl box truck or van
  
  

Other responsibilities delegated by the Production Manager or Director of Operations as needed.

Driving Requirements

Ability to learn skills required to perform the role. Ability to drive up to a 24ft Non-CDL box truck or delivery van. Valid driving license, ability to pass DMV driving review and acceptance by our insurance carrier to drive our company vehicles.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma; relevant production and driving experience (6 month minimum) is preferred.

Physical and Mental Requirements

Physical Requirement: bending; stooping; light, moderate and heavy lifting/carrying; as well as lifting and pushing 150lbs waist high, assisted; reaching above shoulder; ability to do a repetitive motion; and the ability to stand and walk for most of the day.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime is available
• Work hours are typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid meal break. Some days work hours may be till 5:30pm
