Role Description The Recruiter is a full-time, on-site role based in El Paso, TX. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring decisions for roles across retail, operations, and corporate functions. The Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, create clear job descriptions, and maintain a strong pipeline of talent aligned with 787 Coffee’s values and culture. Day-to-day activities include posting jobs on various platforms, organizing and attending hiring events, managing candidate communication, and ensuring a positive and inclusive candidate experience. The Recruiter will also track recruitment metrics, support onboarding coordination, and contribute to employer branding initiatives that highlight 787 Coffee’s mission and community impact.

Qualifications

  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
  • Skills in candidate relationship management and stakeholder communication, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple requisitions and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and basic HR/recruitment tools.
  • Knowledge of best practices in inclusive hiring and a commitment to non-discriminatory recruitment processes.
  • Ability to work on-site in El Paso, TX and collaborate closely with store and operations leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in en_US; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
  • Prior experience recruiting for hospitality, retail, or food & beverage roles is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Human Resources, Business, or related fields is beneficial.
  • Genuine interest in coffee, sustainable practices, and community-focused work.
