Starbucks regulatory compliance scientist role provides the right candidate with an opportunity to contribute to a strong professional team that supports high profile global projects within a large cross functional group. This role will have direct influence over retail and CPG channel products that have wide brand recognition and appeal. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers and industry experts to incorporate Starbucks regulatory compliance requirements as these programs are brought to life, delivering our department’s purpose – to ensure partner and customer trust in Starbucks safety and quality every day.

As a regulatory compliance scientist, you will…
- Leverage scientific acumen to deliver effective labeling review and data integrity practices and processes. Contribute to the implementation of programs and strategic plans.
- Provide and maintain knowledge in applicable US and Canada food regulations.
- Apply sound technical principles to root cause analyses and problem solving
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- General Science (4 years), Food Science, Nutrition, Food Safety, Microbiology or other related degrees
- Experience in food science, labeling and nutrition regulatory roles or data management.

- If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
