This job contributes to Starbucks’ success by delivering business value with support by applying processes and tools to coordinate planning and coordination within US Licensed Coffeehouse Excellence teams. This role ensures the organization is able to focus on the highest-impact opportunities by coordinating planning, organization, and collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and collaborative with the ability to manage shifting priorities, support multiple stakeholders, and contribute positively to a cross-functional team environment.

As a Senior Coordinator, you will…

  • Coordinate and organize portions of projects, including leading small projects, meetings, and events
  • Apply project management tools, processes, and techniques to support project goals
  • Track, update, and maintain project documentation such as budgets, notes, schedules and materials
  • Manage calendars, meetings, and logistics to support project teams and leaders
  • Anticipate potential risks or barriers
  • Assist in optimizing tools and processes to improve project efficiency
  • Gather content and prepare presentation materials to support functional work
  • Serves as a knowledge resource to department or function
  • Assist with on-boarding of new Partners (employees)

In addition, you may at times…

  • Schedule and arrange business travel
  • Accurately report travel expenses for one or more leaders

We’d Love To Hear From People With

  • 3-5 years of experience with project related support
  • 3-5 years of experience in a role performing administrative assistant or coordinator job functions
  • Working knowledge of basic project management practices and tools
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills

  • If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
