8002 Espresso Bar
Schedule: Evening Shift. Monday – Friday 3:15pm-6:30pm 16 hours weekly.
About The Position
The Barista performs all the duties to open, operate, and close the Espresso Bar. This would include proper stock for maximum guest satisfaction. The position must be meticulous in following recipes and guidelines according to Starbucks guidelines.
Overview Of Responsibilities
- Provides top notch customer service to all guests according to the Reid Key Service Behaviors.
- Handles cash and operates a cash register, which includes counting deposits and logging out of the register when stepping away.
- Responsible for cleanliness and organization of work area.
- Responsible for the operation of an under-counter dish machine, which includes deliming the machine as needed.
- Stocks the work area with supplies, including equipment, food, items needed for beverages, condiments, paper products, and cleaning chemicals.
- Responsible for the operation, daily maintenance, and cleanliness of equipment, including coffee brewers, espresso machines, blenders, refrigerators, and ice makers.
- Advertises daily specials on the whiteboard.
- Prepares the Espresso Bar to be open promptly at 5:30am, which includes being completely stocked (by staff the day before at closing), fresh items in the display, the daily brews completed, and everything clean and organized.
- Takes inventory and prepares vendor orders to be placed.
- Cleans and sanitizes tables, chairs, and trash cans.
- Keeps the display case stocked with food and beverages.
- Monitors products for expiration dates, which includes proper rotation and dating all items that are opened.
- Dates everything you open.
- Continues to serve customers. Cleans Espresso Bar area and polishes. Ensures ALL products are displayed with easy visibility for customers.
- Keeps ALL trash picked up.
- Checks out with Supervisor at the end of the shift.

Education & Experience
- High School Graduate.
- Food service or bartending experience
