Job Description

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Position Type: Part-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced food and beverage environment, provides excellent customer service, and takes pride in preparing quality beverages while maintaining a clean and welcoming workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established standards.
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
• Take customer orders accurately and assist with questions about menu items.
• Operate coffee and beverage equipment safely and properly.
• Maintain adequate stock of cups, lids, coffee, condiments, and other supplies.
• Keep counters, equipment, service areas, and workstations clean and organized.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.
• Assist with opening duties and preparation for morning service.
• Monitor inventory and communicate when supplies need to be replenished.
• Work efficiently during busy morning service periods.
• Support team members as needed to ensure a positive customer experience.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous barista, café, restaurant, hospitality, or food service experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable and punctual, with the ability to consistently report for early-morning shifts.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow recipes, preparation standards, and food safety procedures.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine food and beverage service tasks.
