Glazer / Crew Member – Glaze Donuts

Glaze Donuts is a growing family-owned bakery and coffee company serving communities throughout New Jersey. The Glazer / Crew Member is an on-site part-time position based at our New Milford, NJ, West Caldwell, NJ and Nutley, NJ locations. This role combines customer service, beverage preparation, and bakery operations to ensure every guest has an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, taking orders using our TOAST POS system, preparing coffee, espresso beverages, refreshers, and other specialty drinks, glazing and finishing donuts, stocking displays, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and supporting daily store operations. Team members are expected to work independently, follow company procedures, and maintain Glaze Donuts' high standards for quality, cleanliness, and hospitality.

Our stores are welcoming, customer-focused, and team-oriented. While mornings, weekends, holidays, and special events can become busy, this is not a high-pressure environment. Many shifts are independently managed, so we're looking for individuals who are responsible, self-motivated, and comfortable managing their responsibilities without constant supervision.

This is not a seasonal position. We are looking for individuals seeking long-term employment who take pride in their work and are interested in growing with our company as we continue to expand.

• Previous experience in a coffee shop, café, bakery, restaurant, hospitality, retail, or food service environment is preferred.
• Barista experience and familiarity with espresso-based beverages are highly preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities during a shift.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
• Comfortable preparing beverages according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Reliable transportation.
• Weekend availability preferred, with occasional holiday availability.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
