Overview

The Bean & Bread Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while preparing and serving coffee, beverages, and bakery items in a fast-paced environment. This role ensures product quality, cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere that reflects Golden Nugget’s service standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner and provide prompt service.
• Prepare and serve coffee drinks, espresso beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions, and upsell products when appropriate.
• Accurately process transactions using the POS system and handle cash/credit payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including counters, equipment, and dining areas.
• Stock and replenish food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
• Monitor product quality and freshness; follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Follow all health department regulations and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Resolve minor guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
  
  

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable of coffee products and specialty food items
• Record of accomplishment in delivering exceptional guest or client experience
• Effective communication skills
• Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor
• Available for various shifts including early morning, late nights, double shifts, occasional weekends, holidays, and long hours
• Team Player with a guest first attitude
