Essential Duties
- Greet and engage residents and guests with professionalism, warmth, and exceptional customer service.
- Prepare and serve menu items accurately, following established recipes and quality standards.
- Provide knowledgeable information about offerings and assist residents with requests in a courteous and helpful manner.
- Maintain inventory levels by replenishing food and beverage supplies and restocking coffee bar essentials.
- Operate and maintain equipment according to procedures, perform basic troubleshooting, and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area at all times.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Support continuous improvement by evaluating workflows, suggesting enhancements, and maintaining a welcoming presentation of the space.
- Stay current with industry trends through educational opportunities, relevant publications, and networking.
- Demonstrate ownership and initiative by embracing new tasks, fulfilling special requests, and identifying ways to add value.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience in providing high-level customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Food Handler Certificate (Health Card) required.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse resident and staff population.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Post-secondary education or relevant coursework preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies regarding resident, staff, and operational information.
- Working knowledge of barista equipment and food service machinery preferred; training will be provided as needed.
- Demonstrates strong customer service skills with a professional, courteous demeanor.
- Maintains composure and professionalism when handling difficult or escalated situations.
- Represents the company positively and constructively in all interactions.
- Applies effective problem-solving skills and takes initiative to resolve issues.
- Takes ownership of concerns and follows through to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
- Shows resourcefulness and the ability to connect information to address resident or customer needs.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and job responsibilities.

- Requires standing and active movement throughout the shift.
- Involve routine tasks such as inventory management, bending, lifting, grasping, pushing, and pulling.
- Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 45 lbs. multiple times per day.
